Christiaan and Deborah met at a Dance Studio, where their passion for dance brought them together. Christiaan and Deborah strongly encourage teaching their students the basics of lead and follow connection, frame, communication, poise, technique, and styling, along with step patterns. "Let the music move you." "Feel the music." and learn to dance! Their mutual love of dance inspires many new dancers to "stick with it." | Deborah was born into a home with parents that loved to dance. It was only natural that Deborah began her dancing career at the age of three. Even then, she knew that dancing would always be a big part of her life. She began with Tap, then moved on to Jazz, Country, Line Dancing, and entered Pageants. She taught Tap to little children in her community. She enjoyed performing and choreographing the children’s performances. In time, she discovered Ballroom dancing, and fell in love! Deborah became a certified Instructor and began teaching. Her ambitions and dreams of dancing on stage and teaching have become a reality. |

Christiaan Dance Instructor Christiaan taught at a Fred Astaire’s Dance Studio in 1977. Thirty-five years later... In 2012 we say "Is it the end or only the beginning?" Take dance lessons from Christiaan! Christiaan began his dancing career in 1973. He was seen at Winnipeg nightclubs, dancing up a storm with his flips and jumps. He joined Fred Astaire’s Dance Studio in 1977, became an instructor and started teaching shortly afterward. In 1978, Christiaan broke a world record for duration Jive dancing. He danced for 63 hours non-stop. 35 years later, his passion for dance remains. In 2003, he was asked to audition as an extra in "Shall We Dance" .After meeting Deborah at the Studio, he became recertified as an Instructor. Ballroom, Swing, and Latin , with an occasional touch of his trademark free-style. That's Christiaan. He greatly enjoys teaching and energizing people through Dance as well as Reiki. His methods are easy to follow. A proper balance of mind, body, and soul can be just what you need.
